Only three golfers have won the Masters in their first appearance — Horton Smith, Gene Sarazen and Fuzzy Zoeller. Jordan Spieth will look to add his name the short list when he tees it up at Augusta National next week for the first time in his fledgling career.
He'll do so wearing four different looks from Under Armour, a relatively new player in the golf apparel industry. Along with Spieth, Hunter Mahan, Gary Woodland and Scott Stallings will also be sporting Under Armour apparel next week.
The shirts feature Under Armour's UA Coldblack that reflects IR and heat rays so even dark-colored shirts stay cool; 30+ UPF that protects the skin from the sun's harmful rays; and moisture wicking materials that wick sweat away from the body.
Most of Spieth's looks are fairly understated, with the exception of the green shirt he plans to wear during the final round. The reigning PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year signed on with Under Armour at the beginning of last year when he turned pro.
